Sophia is a junior at Parkview High School in Georgia with a passion for the intersection of data science and environmental advocacy. Her journey began when she switched to sustainable packaging for her small Etsy business — a decision that not only made her small business more eco-friendly, but also encouraged a growing community of small businesses to do the same. Whether conducting AI research or leading her environmental nonprofit, Clean Choices Together, Sophia is committed to using data science to create meaningful impact. In her free time, you can find Sophia playing the cello, watching Chinese variety shows, or drying far too many flowers to preserve in handmade necklaces.

DIRECTOR OF PROGRAMS, ADVOCACY

Gabby Aston is a rising 10th grader at the Episcopal School of Dallas with a strong passion for engineering, STEM, and environmental science. Born in California, Gabby’s interest in the environment began early, shaped by her curiosity about the natural world and how it’s impacted by climate change. As a passionate hiker and frequent traveler, she’s fascinated by the ways ecosystems and communities are affected by environmental shifts. Whether she’s cheering on the sidelines, coding a new project, speaking French, or researching aerospace engineering, Gabby is always exploring how science and innovation can help build a more sustainable future.

Natalie is a high school student in China with a deep interest in computer engineering and science, paired with a strong drive to make the world a better place. Whether advocating for accessible education or promoting environmental awareness, she’s passionate about using technology and knowledge to create lasting impact. Her dedication extends beyond the classroom, as she looks for innovative and inclusive ways to contribute to global change. During her free time, you can find Natalie reading a book, watching a rom-com, or listening to Tate McRae’s sound checks.

Alexa is a sophomore at Menlo High School in California with a strong interest in STEM and the environment. She found her love for the environment when she was a young girl and noticed the pollution in her local creek. From then on, she has worked to raise awareness for the environment. Alexa enjoys reading, art, fencing, and spending time with family and friends.

Risha is a senior at University High School in Illinois with an interest in public health. She actively participates in environmental clubs at her school, driven by the passion for creating an eco-friendly community and inspiring others to do the same. She is committed to making a meaningful impact at Clean Choices Together. In her free time, you can find Risha playing tennis, cooking, and spending time with her family. 

DIRECTOR OF OUTREACH, YOUTH

Ashita Bhardwaj is in grade 8 at Springdale School, Dhaula Kuan. From a young age, she has been curious about nature and how human actions impact the planet. Whether volunteering in local clean-up events, encouraging recycling at school, or participating in eco-club activities, Ashita is always eager to make a positive difference. She enjoys spending time outdoors, exploring parks and nature trails, and learning about wildlife and ecosystems. Her goal is to help protect the planet by spreading awareness and promoting small, everyday changes that can lead to a healthier Earth. Ashita hopes to continue learning about environmental science and one day pursue a career that helps solve global environmental challenges.  In her free time she likes to practice Kathak and write storybooks.
