Felted Memories

It’s been a joy learning about Léa’s journey with Felted Memories, and we’re excited to share it with you below. You can support her small business by checking it out here!

About Felted Memories

Felted Memories began when Léa found an unused felting kit in her sister’s room, tried making a tiny dog, and instantly fell in love with the craft. She picked it up again during a stressful period in Canada, teaching herself new techniques and eventually opening an Etsy shop, where her first sales encouraged her to keep creating. After facing a serious illness, felting became a source of calm and healing, turning into a meaningful way to share small pieces of happiness with others. One of her favorite creations is a felted monkey from her Chinese Zodiac series, a tribute to her father and a way to reconnect with her roots, and she especially loves making tiny hand-sized figurines that feel like cheerful lucky charms. Sustainability also matters to her, so she uses simple, recyclable packaging like small cardboard boxes and shredded cardboard, and she hopes to reduce her footprint even more by occasionally shipping orders from Canada to shorten delivery routes.
